Held at Suntec Convention Center, the neon party themed event featured a large variety of workouts, a K-pop jam session and an after party with a live DJ set

German titan sports brand, PUMA, held its first ever inaugural fitness party event on the 7th of October 2018 at Suntec Convention Hall 403 known as PUMA TRAIN #24Seven.

The all-day event – completely sold out – consisted of an extensive list of workout choices for participants, a Kpop dance session taught by Mina Myoung, a South Korean choreographer and an afterparty featuring a live DJ mix by local DJ Krumbs and hypeman MC Sonorus.

Drawing over a thousand participants over the day, the neon-party themed event was made up of three main pillars: PUSH, POWER AND PARTY.

Participants were PUSHed to the limit with over 17 different workouts organized by GuavaPass to choose from, with scheduled exercise activities at the Main Stage and studio classes found around the event grounds. Main Stage workouts were scheduled throughout the day and taught by PUMA’s Team Faster trainers.

Attendees were invited to experience a variety of exercises such as Soundscape by Ascend Yoga and Overtone, a sensual yoga session with musical elements such as handpans and gongs and Prowl like a Panther, Strike Like a PUMA, a high intensity interval training session with elements of boxing and martial arts. Studio classes such as ballet basics by BalletBody Studio and WeBarre, boxing by Still Boxing, calisthenics by Start Station and and cycling by Absolute Cycling were also available throughout the day.

South Korean dance choreographer Mina Myoung from the famed 1Million dance studio in Seoul was also present at the event. Mina first led a K-pop dance choreography class to a class of 20 participants, followed by a K-pop Jam session with all participants at the Main Stage. Lucky draws were also held throughout the day, which gave participants the chance to win a number of attractive prizes such as Samsung Galaxy Watches and studio class packages from the supporting studio partners of the event.

Participants POWERed up with a specially curated pool of food and beverage vendors, the main focus being health and wellness. Healthy food bowls from YOLO, sandwiches from Cedele and acai bowls from Randy Indulgence were among the choices of wholesome foods available, washed down with beverages such as coconut water from Cocoloco, cold-pressed juices from WhoseJuice and coffee from Lunar Coffee Brewers.

The third pillar, PARTY, gave participants the opportunity to pamper themselves in between exercises and get ready for the afterparty with DJ Krumbs. Complimentary booths were set up around the event grounds with UV face painting, hair braiding, a beauty booth by The Body Shop and a Glam and Wellness Bar by Vaniday where many attendees got manicures done. A PUMA pop-up store was also set up for attendees to get their hands on the latest PUMA apparel.
