The timeless elegance of a has been given an ultramodern upgrade by with the creation of an exceptionally light and graceful shoe that provides the contemporary woman with a wardrobe staple for almost any occasion.

Named after Anine Frølich, Denmark’s first ballet star in the 18th century, the ECCO ANINE is truly a 21st century shoe crafted with the company’s rich, premium leathers from the ECCO Leather Studio and state-of-the-art technologies.

Half the weight of the Danish brand’s previous ballet flats, and a third lighter than most flats in the market, the ECCO ANINE is offered in a spectrum of eight feminine colourways, giving limitless styling options and wearing moments for women to enjoy the shoemaker’s signature lightweight comfort.

The materials used to produce ECCO ANINE include printed, metallic and ECCO FLUIDTOUCH CALF Leather, as well as ECCO FINE CRAQUELURE Leather. Inspired by the cartographical views of sprawling cities and great mountain ranges, ECCO FINE CRAQUELURE Leather has a distinctive, cracked pattern, but feels soft and is full of substance.

Renowned for making lightweight and comfortable shoes, only ECCO is able to reinterpret the iconic ballet flat silhouette with a new anatomical last as well as ECCO FLUIDFORM™ Direct Comfort Technology.

The new anatomical last offers a softer and more feminine outlook, as well as a more rounded heel and toe shape that hugs the foot for the best fit yet.

Developed over three decades by the shoemaker, and constantly refined and improved within the brand’s research laboratories, ECCO FLUIDFORM™ Direct Comfort Technology ensures that ECCO ANINE, with its direct-injected, one-component P.U sole, has an ideal balance of cushioning and rebound. The FLUIDFORM™ technology also creates an integral, durable bond between the upper and sole, without any of the compromises common with stitched and glued assemblies. The comfort is further enhanced by a moulded Poron® inlay sole covered in ECCO Leather, which closely follows the contours of the wearer’s foot.

While other shoemakers and styles might have solid, heavier heels, the ECCO ANINE’s 1.5mm stacked leather heel, which is lightweight, flexible and works with the company’s own SHANK technology, offers generous softness and unparalleled joy to wear.
From a picnic in the park to a dinner date, or from a coffee meeting to a barbecue gathering, the ECCO ANINE can easily be dressed up with a Little Black Dress or cocktail frock; or dressed down by simply pairing it with cropped trousers, or with a classic pair of jeans and an oversized shirt. The possibilities are endless for any modern woman with style.

The new ECCO ANINE is priced at $229.90 and is available now at all ECCO stores and online at https://sg.ecco.com.
